PRUSA FC's Radko Pogonchev got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute Teofan Ilkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitomir Sivov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. PRUSA FC's Kubrat Mindizov quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Iliya Neshkov, made in the 32nd minute of the game. Presiyan Baykushev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rangel Fezliyski in the 34th minute of the match. After having played for 36 minutes, Radko Pogonchev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PRUSA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Radko Pogonchev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. PRUSA FC were furious when Sava Smilenov was red carded, 46 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of 1.CSKA booed when PRUSA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sava Smilenov didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teofan Ilkov was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Teofan Ilkov managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1.CSKA's supporters rose to their feet, but Teofan Ilkov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vitomir Sivov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Viktor Búrzev might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vitomir Sivov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Viktor Búrzev ran back to his position shaking his head. 55 minutes into the match, PRUSA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gruyo Bratovanov came free, but Vitomir Sivov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vitomir Sivov made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Teofan Ilkov sent off a good shot on target. Angel Chavorin struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Presiyan Baykushev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PRUSA FC. Iliya Neshkov kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, PRUSA FC's Angel Chavorin got a free kick in the 68th minute. 72 minutes into the match, PRUSA FC's Rangel Fezliyski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Presiyan Baykushev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. PRUSA FC's Radko Pogonchev got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Violet Dzivev in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
