With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pancho Vladislavov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 24th minute Elin Shestakov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pancho Vladislavov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CSKA's Pancho Vladislavov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elin Shestakov in the 25th minute of play. Venko Shofelinov took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pancho Vladislavov. Pancho Vladislavov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elin Shestakov in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pancho Vladislavov saved CSKA from getting behind. The supporters of CSKA booed when ФК Априлци was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodor Gúlúbinov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute Kuncho Dushkin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavel Chulev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
