FC East Star's Stoyne Borimechkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sofoklis Bletsios in the 21st minute of play. Stoyne Borimechkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svetlin Vakanov in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Lyudmil Kenov notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of FC East Star's Stoyne Borimechkov. Stoyne Borimechkov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 37th minute of the match, Tervel Ribolovski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Igor Vapordzhiev saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Deyan Adamski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stoyne Borimechkov having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Stayko Stanislavov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stoyne Borimechkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When FC East Star's Tervel Ribolovski in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MIHAEL's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half MIHAEL were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 78th minute, Milcho Petkov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sofoklis Bletsios got free with Stoyne Borimechkov in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 83rd minute, Viden Arahangelov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Igor Vapordzhiev was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. In the 90th minute, Zapryan Trifonov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind MIHAEL's goalkeeper Igor Vapordzhiev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stoyne Borimechkov made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Svetlin Vakanov sent off a good shot on target. Milcho Petkov's late challenge caught a MIHAEL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Milcho Petkov helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC East Star's Milcho Petkov got a free kick in the 94th minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
