In the 13thth minute of the game Cordera Nunez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Plovdiv City's George Velinov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Plovdiv City's goalkeeper George Velinov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 1.CSKA's Slavyan Matzev was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but George Velinov in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cordera Nunez might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over George Velinov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cordera Nunez ran back to his position shaking his head. Cordera Nunez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. After 44 minutes, Cordera Nunez made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC Plovdiv City's George Velinov tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 47 minutes into the match, 1.CSKA's Cordera Nunez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that George Velinov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francis Coignard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. George Velinov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. After 59 minutes of play, 1.CSKA's Cordera Nunez made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. George Velinov was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 62nd minute Cordera Nunez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Velinov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cordera Nunez in the 63rd minute of play forced FC Plovdiv City's goalkeeper George Velinov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. George Velinov came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by 1.CSKA's Cordera Nunez. But to his dismay, Cordera Nunez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. After 82 minutes of play, 1.CSKA's Cordera Nunez made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. George Velinov was left in no man's land by his defense there! 91 minutes into the game, Cordera Nunez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. George Velinov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 1.CSKA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
