The referee felt a red card was in order, 29 minutes into the game, when Vihren Delibaltov put in a rough tackle. 29 minutes into the game, one of ПФК Берое:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. ПФК Берое:s Hugo Lloris showed great skill when he stopped Rostislav Mominov:s penalty. Ilcho Petrinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lazar Batalov in the 39th minute of play. Volodya kalúpchiyski charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Volodya kalúpchiyski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 played minutes ПФК Берое got a freekick which was hit by Volodya kalúpchiyski. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mahsun İrfan to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, ПФК Берое's goalkeeper Hugo Lloris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Biser Kostakev. The supporters of ПФК Берое booed when TigersWest was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Avgustin Kachov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute of the match ПФК Берое got a corner. TigersWest's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vancho Paleshutski ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on ПФК Берое's corner Vancho Paleshutski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ilcho Petrinski quite easily take care of the ball. In the 65th minute Mahsun İrfan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Lloris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mahsun İrfan in the 70th minute of play forced ПФК Берое's goalkeeper Hugo Lloris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute ПФК Берое were awarded a corner. Vancho Paleshutski went to the cornerflag to take it. Wesly Van Leempoel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ilcho Petrinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Avgustin Kachov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ilcho Petrinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lazar Batalov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wesly Van Leempoel kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Plamen Seymenov took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hugo Lloris. ПФК Берое's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Manovski in the 90th minute of play forced TigersWest's goalkeeper Ilcho Petrinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Lloris made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Plamen Seymenov sent off a good shot on target. TigersWest's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
