Spectators: 8504 (Terracing: 6378, Seating: 1956, VIP seats: 170) Luis Figo made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Luis Figo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Adam Doykin, 1-0. In the 7th minute Isidoro Thomas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Pombal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20 minutes of play, Lauta Army's Isidoro Thomas made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oscar Pombal was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 24th minute Seoirse McJon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Pombal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Marcial Meder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oscar Pombal came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Lauta Army's Isidoro Thomas. But to his dismay, Isidoro Thomas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Oscar Pombal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Seoirse McJon, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Oscar Pombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Thomas in the 43rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, R«STAR EAGLES»K's Alejandro Nesta got a free kick in the 44th minute. After some careless play in the R«STAR EAGLES»K defense, Seoirse McJon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oscar Pombal. The R«STAR EAGLES»K fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oscar Pombal should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The wind increased when Isidoro Thomas made the kick off in the second half. Isidoro Thomas took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oscar Pombal. Oscar Pombal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. When Luis Figo came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the R«STAR EAGLES»K fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Figo couldn't finish the play. Lauta Army made a substitution. Iliyan Hadzhistefanov replaced Dochko Sivchev. Lauta Army's Slavey Kostadinchev was substituted for Rhesos Theodoratos. The crowd rose to their feet as Lauta Army's Seoirse McJon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Oscar Pombal. That made the score 2-6 after 76 minutes of play. R«STAR EAGLES»K's Oscar Pombal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save R«STAR EAGLES»K from getting a goal against them. In the 84th match minute, R«STAR EAGLES»K was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Sorge to maneuver through the defense. Oscar Pombal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Meder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidoro Thomas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oscar Pombal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Claudio Valcareggi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adam Doykin was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-6. Oscar Pombal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Thomas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute Lauta Army were awarded a corner. Marcial Meder went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Marcial Meder got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Oscar Pombal quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lauta Army eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
