Yordan Húntev got a throw-in 10 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Velichko Búnev. When Tervel Ribolovski came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the FC East Star fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tervel Ribolovski couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the match, 1.CSKA's goal looked a bit too open when Tervel Ribolovski came free, but Lin Feng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, 1.CSKA's Concetto Trentini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stoyne Borimechkov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Concetto Trentini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stoyne Borimechkov having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Velichko Búnev in the 19th minute of play forced 1.CSKA's goalkeeper Lin Feng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cordera Nunez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stoyne Borimechkov having to make a save. Stoyne Borimechkov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cordera Nunez in the 23rd minute. In the 25thth minute of the game Tervel Ribolovski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 1.CSKA's Lin Feng was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 1.CSKA's Lin Feng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Velichko Búnev in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Velichko Búnev in the 40th minute of play forced 1.CSKA's goalkeeper Lin Feng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Conrado Abalos in the 41st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC East Star's Yordan Húntev. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Cordera Nunez made the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the game, Concetto Trentini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 1.CSKA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC East Star the free kick. In the 51st minute, Concetto Trentini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the match, Cordera Nunez notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of FC East Star's Stoyne Borimechkov. Stoyne Borimechkov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lin Feng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tervel Ribolovski, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Stoyne Borimechkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cordera Nunez in the 63rd minute of play. Lin Feng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tervel Ribolovski in the 67th minute of the match. Concetto Trentini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Stoyne Borimechkov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute Concetto Trentini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stoyne Borimechkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Velichko Búnev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in 1.CSKA's zone, Tervel Ribolovski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lin Feng came out of the goal and Tervel Ribolovski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Velichko Búnev got free with Lin Feng in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 82nd minute, Leon Jobo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tervel Ribolovski struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Lin Feng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC East Star. Cordera Nunez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stoyne Borimechkov having to make a save. In the 86th minute Cordera Nunez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stoyne Borimechkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tervel Ribolovski in the 88th minute of play forced 1.CSKA's goalkeeper Lin Feng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Tervel Ribolovski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 94 minutes into the game, Cordera Nunez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Stoyne Borimechkov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The 1.CSKA players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
