The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Geno Hadzhipetrov hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Mahsun İrfan ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 5th minute, Vlado Gergishanov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in FC Plovdiv City's zone, Rostislav Mominov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tinko Yashov came out of the goal and Rostislav Mominov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Velizar Tarinski charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Velizar Tarinski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Velizar Tarinski kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, FC Plovdiv City's goal looked a bit too open when Rostislav Mominov came free, but Tinko Yashov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Plovdiv City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Traycho Pipkov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st minute Rostislav Mominov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tinko Yashov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Plovdiv City's Strahil Kertev managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Filip Parapanov in the 90 minute of the game. Mahsun İrfan didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-1 via right post in the game's 93rd minute. TigersWest's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! The TigersWest players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
