Hugo Lloris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aygün Akıncıbeyoğlu in the 2nd minute of the match. In the 14th minute Piotr Klawke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Lloris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 played minutes Yanko Gurmev rounded AXi's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. After 23 played minutes ПФК Берое got a freekick which was hit by Casper De Boeck. Victorino Diaz Montero took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugo Lloris. Hugo Lloris dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Konstantin Dobrinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lazar Batalov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustavo Ramond in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Lloris prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Diaz Montero in the 41st minute of play forced ПФК Берое's goalkeeper Hugo Lloris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Velichko Trenkov to make the kick off. ПФК Берое's Karol Walec quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lucas Argenis, made in the 51st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Velichko Trenkov in the 54th minute of play forced AXi's goalkeeper Konstantin Dobrinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, ПФК Берое's goal looked a bit too open when Piotr Klawke came free, but Hugo Lloris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 57 played minutes AXi got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Ramond. Hugo Lloris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aygün Akıncıbeyoğlu in the 61st minute of play. Casper De Boeck scored 3-1 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Konstantin Dobrinski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Velichko Trenkov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Konstantin Dobrinski having to make a save. 74 minutes into the match, AXi's goal looked a bit too open when Loukianos Konstantakis came free, but Konstantin Dobrinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucas Argenis kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Konstantin Dobrinski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yanko Gurmev went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the AXi defense, Yanko Gurmev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Konstantin Dobrinski. The AXi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Konstantin Dobrinski should have stopped the shot. Konstantin Dobrinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yanko Gurmev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Loukianos Konstantakis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Konstantin Dobrinski having to make a save. After having played for 89 minutes, Yanko Gurmev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ПФК Берое's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yanko Gurmev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When ПФК Берое's Loukianos Konstantakis in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AXi's goalie prevented a goal. Loukianos Konstantakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Konstantin Dobrinski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. ПФК Берое were victorious despite being under pressure from AXi for much of the match.
