Trendafil Margin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stoil Gotev went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Trendafil Margin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delcho Chaev, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 9th match minute, Great Bulgaria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prokopi Pravchanski to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, Stoil Gotev notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Great Bulgaria's Trendafil Margin. Trendafil Margin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 13th minute, Delcho Chaev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VN FK LEVSKI-1914-Varna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Stoil Gotev took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Trendafil Margin. Trendafil Margin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Stoil Gotev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Trendafil Margin made a huge save. Delcho Chaev scored 5-0 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Trendafil Margin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Paulo de Lima sped through Great Bulgaria's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Trendafil Margin. Trendafil Margin was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Delcho Chaev capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Delcho Chaev really showed his touch with that goal: 8-0. 35 minutes into the game, Paulo de Lima recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Trendafil Margin. Paulo de Lima showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 9-0. When VN FK LEVSKI-1914-Varna's Delcho Chaev in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Great Bulgaria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulo de Lima was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. Paulo de Lima could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Trendafil Margin made a huge save. Trendafil Margin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delcho Chaev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 10-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marko Dzhorinski to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Great Bulgaria's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Quinteros came free, but Trendafil Margin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marko Dzhorinski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Stens having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhelyo Boyadzhov in the 55th minute of play forced Great Bulgaria's goalkeeper Trendafil Margin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Ulises Quinteros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Evtim Kalúpchiev charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evtim Kalúpchiev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Great Bulgaria getting a freekick after 76 minutes play.
