Spectators: 8467 (Terracing: 6351, Seating: 1947, VIP seats: 169) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nacho Barbutski got the match started through his kick off. Chudomir Popisakov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladimir Tomanov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. 4 minutes into the match, Loko Plovdiv's goal looked a bit too open when Dobri Pipkov came free, but Vladimir Tomanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Цървена звезда's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Neno Partalin in the 6th minute. After taking down the ball on Цървена звезда's corner Neno Partalin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vladimir Tomanov quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Цървена звезда booed when Loko Plovdiv was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kalin Mitrushev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zapryan Sachanski made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Nacho Barbutski sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dobri Pipkov in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladimir Tomanov saved Loko Plovdiv from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Цървена звезда's zone, Nacho Barbutski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zapryan Sachanski came out of the goal and Nacho Barbutski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dobri Pipkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Vladimir Tomanov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Dobri Pipkov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vladimir Tomanov was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Цървена звезда were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Loko Plovdiv's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Neno Partalin took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Loko Plovdiv's goalie and right to Vitomir Bandev. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Loko Plovdiv's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 27 minutes into the match, Loko Plovdiv's goal looked a bit too open when Dobri Pipkov came free, but Vladimir Tomanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dobri Pipkov in the 29th minute of play forced Loko Plovdiv's goalkeeper Vladimir Tomanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Violet Vrúblyanski kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Emanuel Cluceru hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Vladimir Tomanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chudomir Popisakov in the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th match minute, Цървена звезда was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zhivko Tekerlekov to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, Chudomir Popisakov notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Loko Plovdiv's Vladimir Tomanov. Vladimir Tomanov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 43rd minute, Bocho Tagarov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Loko Plovdiv getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Ilcho Argirov hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chudomir Popisakov made a kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Цървена звезда's Chudomir Popisakov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vladimir Tomanov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vladimir Tomanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chudomir Popisakov, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 60th match minute, Loko Plovdiv was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genadi Ahmakov to maneuver through the defense. Loko Plovdiv's Dencho Yashev was substituted for Genadi Ahmakov. Genadi Ahmakov hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dobri Pipkov in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladimir Tomanov saved Loko Plovdiv from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dobri Pipkov in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vladimir Tomanov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Loko Plovdiv's Vladimir Tomanov got control of the ball when Dobri Pipkov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chudomir Popisakov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Neno Partalin during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Цървена звезда's Neno Partalin got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 79th minute, Nacho Barbutski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, Chudomir Popisakov notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Loko Plovdiv's Vladimir Tomanov. Vladimir Tomanov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zapryan Sachanski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nacho Barbutski in the 89th minute of play. In the 91stth minute of the game Nacho Barbutski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Цървена звезда's Zapryan Sachanski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The throw-in from Sevdalin Lenov in the 96th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Loko Plovdiv's Dencho Yashev.
