Anatoly Karpov might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nikola Chipilski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anatoly Karpov ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Felix Emmanuel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Джуджан's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Emmanuel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nikola Chipilski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Emmanuel in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nikola Chipilski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 6 minutes, Stoycho Mladenov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Джуджан's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stoycho Mladenov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. CSKA Ignat's Nenko Maev got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 13 minutes, Felix Emmanuel made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. CSKA Ignat's Nikola Chipilski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Yoncho Zhelyazkov hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After 21st play minutes Felix Emmanuel shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Nikola Chipilski and just under the crossbar into goal. 26 minutes into the game, Джуджан's Shen Yin Le nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nikola Chipilski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nenko Maev got free with Cyryl Maziarz in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 30 minutes into the match, Anatoly Karpov notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of CSKA Ignat's Nikola Chipilski. Nikola Chipilski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cyryl Maziarz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nenko Maev in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Джуджан's goalkeeper Cyryl Maziarz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Felix Emmanuel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nikola Chipilski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anatoly Karpov in the 43rd minute of play forced CSKA Ignat's goalkeeper Nikola Chipilski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nikola Chipilski came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Джуджан's Felix Emmanuel. But to his dismay, Felix Emmanuel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. After the first half Джуджан were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A collision led to CSKA Ignat getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Yoncho Zhelyazkov hit a great ball. Nikola Chipilski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Gervaso, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Shen Yin Le dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nikola Chipilski, 0-8. If Stoycho Mladenov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Delbert Grady got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felix Emmanuel in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nikola Chipilski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 78 minutes into the match, Anatoly Karpov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nikola Chipilski. CSKA Ignat's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anatoly Karpov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-11. CSKA Ignat's Nikola Chipilski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save CSKA Ignat from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nenko Maev in the 84th minute of play forced Джуджан's goalkeeper Cyryl Maziarz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in CSKA Ignat's zone, Delbert Grady stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikola Chipilski came out of the goal and Delbert Grady tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute, Anatoly Karpov made a precise shot to the right of Nikola Chipilski. CSKA Ignat's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-12. The audience was convinced that Felix Emmanuel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nikola Chipilski was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Yoncho Zhelyazkov hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Джуджан's Felix Emmanuel got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Джуджан's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
