Rostislav Shtonovs short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Acho Búrzin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bocho Tagarov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute Rostislav Shtonov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Acho Búrzin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, CSKA Ignat's Nenko Maev got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 22nd minute Nenko Maev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zapryan Sachanski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tzanko Sitnilski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Acho Búrzin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Yoncho Zhelyazkov kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Boyan Smilenov charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boyan Smilenov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Neno Partalin might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Acho Búrzin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Neno Partalin ran back to his position shaking his head. Rostislav Shtonov's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Acho Búrzin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Acho Búrzin stood somewhat misplaced when Vitomir Bandev came free in front of goal and shot 5-0 to the left of him in the 43 minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Nenko Maev made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tzanko Sitnilski got free with Zapryan Sachanski in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
