In the 38th minute, FC LEVSKI ОК's Venko Devenski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. If Venko Devenski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venko Devenski took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anton Lalchev. Anton Lalchev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Dorel Călin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denko Gervazov in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, FC LEVSKI ОК's goal looked a bit too open when Denko Gervazov came free, but Dorel Călin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of MANCHESTER UNITED booed when FC LEVSKI ОК was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gospodin Karushev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Klement Harasimowicz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing MANCHESTER UNITED would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
