CF THE T-REX's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nedko Vatov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Vilhelm Palonen was a little too slow when Gabriel Donov got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-1. Vilhelm Palonen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vladimir Lelekov went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 17th minute, CF THE T-REX's Stoyan Petlichkov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vilhelm Palonen. Vilhelm Palonen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Vilhelm Palonen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Donov in the 21st minute of play. Fabio Kanavaros's late challenge caught a CF THE T-REX's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabio Kanavaros helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of CF THE T-REX booed when FC Gurbanovtsi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Kanavaros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oiva Palsola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Kanavaros in the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Hristofor Pishmanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilhelm Palonen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vladimir Lelekov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nedko Vatov in the 35th minute of play forced CF THE T-REX's goalkeeper Oiva Palsola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, CF THE T-REX's Emiliyan Parev seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Emiliyan Parev the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of CF THE T-REX protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Emiliyan Parev had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 37th minute, one of CF THE T-REX:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CF THE T-REX. Timur Achuev scored 3-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oiva Palsola, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adrian Yanchov hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vladimir Lelekov to strike the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, FC Gurbanovtsi's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimir Lelekov came free, but Vilhelm Palonen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute Vladimir Lelekov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilhelm Palonen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Gurbanovtsi's goalkeeper Vilhelm Palonen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Gurbanovtsi's Vilhelm Palonen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Donov in the 71st minute of play. Vilhelm Palonen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Donov in the 75th minute of play. After 81 played minutes CF THE T-REX got a freekick which was hit by Hristofor Pishmanov. CF THE T-REX's Zanko Tzúrkov was substituted for Gabriel Donov. CF THE T-REX's Pavlin Yoshkov was substituted for Vladimir Lelekov. In the 83rd match minute, CF THE T-REX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hristofor Pishmanov to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to FC Gurbanovtsi getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Bone Rochev hit a great ball. A nice corner shot did that Rostislav Enikov got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vilhelm Palonen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Vilhelm Palonen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zanko Tzúrkov in the 91st minute of the match. FC Gurbanovtsi's Vilhelm Palonen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rostislav Enikov in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute Hristofor Pishmanov suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paolo Matia during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Gurbanovtsi's Paolo Matia got a free kick in the 95th minute. After 96 played minutes CF THE T-REX got a freekick which was hit by Rostislav Enikov.
