Momchil Pushnikov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Toni Gúrdakov made a huge save. Krum Zhirov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Balaguer in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Nirvana getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Zanko Kanazirev hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute Rusi Chergarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toni Gúrdakov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toni Gúrdakov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mito Gerchev in the 30th minute of play. Krum Zhirov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorel Mititel in the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valko Etimov in the 33rd minute of play forced Nirvana's goalkeeper Toni Gúrdakov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Dorel Mititel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krum Zhirov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Mito Gerchev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Toni Gúrdakov was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The supporters of MIZIA booed when Nirvana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivelin Dudev didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mito Gerchev made a kick off. When Maksim Tasev fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nirvana's protests and gave Maksim Tasev a yellow card for diving instead. After 52 played minutes Nirvana got a freekick which was hit by Maksim Tasev. After 53 minutes, Zanko Kanazirev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nirvana and the MIZIA players grew even worse after the yellow card. 54 minutes into the match, Mito Gerchev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Toni Gúrdakov. Nirvana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mito Gerchev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 59 minutes into the match, Valko Etimov notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Nirvana's Toni Gúrdakov. Toni Gúrdakov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Toni Gúrdakov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rusi Chergarov in the 64th minute of play. After 66 played minutes MIZIA got a freekick which was hit by Stoimen Danev. Nirvana's Toni Gúrdakov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Momchil Pushnikov in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute of the match MIZIA got a corner. Nirvana's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Yanislav Vatov ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Yanislav Vatov almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nirvana's Toni Gúrdakov did a great save. 71 minutes into the match, Mito Gerchev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Toni Gúrdakov. Nirvana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mito Gerchev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 78th minute, Rusi Chergarov made a precise shot to the right of Toni Gúrdakov. Nirvana's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Toni Gúrdakov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Milan Kasapski's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Toni Gúrdakov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mito Gerchev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
