OSTROVA's Lulcho Pirov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sava Dodov in the 23rd minute of play. Radomir Medarov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marin Gradev in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marin Petrishki in the 28th minute of play forced Knights Templar's goalkeeper Radomir Medarov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. OSTROVA's Roman Karemov shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 32nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Radomir Medarov but with some difficulty. 40 minutes into the match, OSTROVA's goal looked a bit too open when Aleksandro Nesta came free, but Lulcho Pirov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mirolyub Altúnkov charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mirolyub Altúnkov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lulcho Pirov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roch Fedosz, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Knights Templar's Celedonio Atauri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lulcho Pirov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sava Dodov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Lulcho Pirov made a huge save. Knights Templar's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
