Stepan Bandera who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Matey Lakov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Matey Lakov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ilixo Abeita in the 10th minute. Stepan Bandera's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Matey Lakov firmly grabbed it by the left post. Stepan Bandera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Matey Lakov made a huge save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stepan Bandera was the one to do the kick off.
