Agesilaus Michalaras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petar Zhekov in the 20th minute of play. After 21 minutes, Filip Filev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LIGHTNING and the Dynamo Dresden players grew even worse after the yellow card. Agesilaus Michalaras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petar Zhekov in the 24th minute of the match. After 55 minutes of play LIGHTNING's Filip Filev was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Agesilaus Michalaras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tzvetelin Gelev in the 58th minute of play. Wellington Figueiredo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ilixo Abeita in the 60th minute. Joffrey Bourlet kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Dynamo Dresden's Wellington Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias Vestberg in the 65th minute of play. When Stepan Bandera came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the LIGHTNING fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stepan Bandera couldn't finish the play. Mathias Vestberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute.
