In the 44th minute, Dimitar Berbatov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Crusaders of Dark's goalie and right to Velcho Tzintzov. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Crusaders of Dark's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Marek Tokarczyk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute, Dimitar Berbatov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Momchil Cholpanov kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Fernando Raffo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitar Berbatov in the 90th minute of play. Totyo Popisakov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Velcho Tzintzov in the 92nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Dimitar Berbatov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crusaders of Dark's supporters rose to their feet, but Dimitar Berbatov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Raffo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Crusaders of Dark fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Liverpool had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
