The Belasitsa P fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as GARGOYLES's Ignacio Alvarez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Anzhelo Gyurov. That made the score 2-1 after 12 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Belasitsa P defense, Slavyan Mechkuev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anzhelo Gyurov. The Belasitsa P fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anzhelo Gyurov should have stopped the shot. Anzhelo Gyurov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valko Nanyov in the 20th minute. Andoni Zubizarreta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petyo Gergovski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Slavyan Mechkuev in the 23rd minute of play forced Belasitsa P's goalkeeper Anzhelo Gyurov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andoni Zubizarreta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petyo Gergovski in the 25th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Petyo Gergovski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andoni Zubizarreta. GARGOYLES's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Petyo Gergovski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Afonsinho Fernandes during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 33 played minutes GARGOYLES got a freekick which was hit by Afonsinho Fernandes. Anzhelo Gyurov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ignacio Alvarez in the 40th minute. Antonio Sciotto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
