In the 92nd minute of the match Birmingham City F.C. got a corner. SvE United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stayko Bobekov ran over to the corner to take the kick. Birmingham City F.C.'s Stayko Bobekov was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Filcho Nanev in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
