Thanks to some nice moves Nodari Tsitsishvili could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Bukhuti Cholokaev however easily saved by the left post. Nodari Tsitsishvili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 28th match minute, Harvard University was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arsen Kikalishvili to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Knaresborough's Nodar Gabelia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bukhuti Cholokaev. That made the score 1-0 after 31 minutes of play. With a little luck, Harvard University's Bukhuti Cholokaev got control of the ball when Nodari Tsitsishvili tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Harvard University getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Lukhum Zabelin hit a great ball. Nodar Gabelia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kakhi Lekov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bukhuti Cholokaev having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roman Podolyakin to make the kick off. Nodari Tsitsishvili struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Bukhuti Cholokaev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Knaresborough. Knaresborough's Roman Nad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Podolyakin in the 59th minute of play. Mikhail Andrzheevskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bukhuti Cholokaev having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Nodari Tsitsishvili made a precise shot to the right of Bukhuti Cholokaev. Harvard University's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Knaresborough's Nodari Tsitsishvili got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Nodari Tsitsishvili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bukhuti Cholokaev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nodari Tsitsishvili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bukhuti Cholokaev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nodari Tsitsishvili in the 82nd minute of play. Nodari Tsitsishvili recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Harvard University's Jaba Zabelin got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Harvard University's Bukhuti Cholokaev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nodar Gabelia in the 95th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Knaresborough fully deserved thier win.
