Redruth City's Bondo Milakiev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dato Pawletko in the 22nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bukhuti Khatiashvili in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bondo Milakiev saved Redruth City from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gogita Machaidze during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With an all-out effort, Redruth City's Merdan Levidze threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Teimuraz Dzotsenidze , which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bondo Milakiev came out of the goal and Dato Pawletko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Bukhuti Khatiashvili's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bondo Milakiev was relentless in the 80th minute of the game.
