Bukhuti Alania sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to FC PK getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Soso Lekov hit a great ball. Davit Khatiashvili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bukhuti Alania in the 14th minute of play. After 16 played minutes P H O E N I X got a freekick which was hit by Tshalkhia Abesadze. In the 21st minute, Jaba Londaridze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, P H O E N I X's Roman Mingrelsky tried to score from far away in the 22nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in FC PK's zone, Sergey Kobiashvili stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Davit Khatiashvili came out of the goal and Sergey Kobiashvili tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 26 minutes into the match, P H O E N I X's goal looked a bit too open when Merdan Alania came free, but Khvicha Sulaberidze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sergey Kobiashvili got free with Davit Khatiashvili in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee felt a red card was in order, 69 minutes into the game, when Giorgi Dzotsenidze put in a rough tackle. FC PK's Merdan Alania got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC PK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
