The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Shoshita Babadishev to make the kick off. 1-2 became the score in the 53rd minute when Bukhuti Bitsadze elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the match was over Whittlesey could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Liverpool FC throughout the match.
