After some careless play in the Wiveliscombe City defense, Shoshita Londaridze kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Torgva Gogava. The Wiveliscombe City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Torgva Gogava should have stopped the shot. Akim Beroshvili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otar Arveladze having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Akim Beroshvili stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Akim Beroshvili had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Otar Arveladze. One of Clapham:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Wiveliscombe City:s goal. 62 minutes into the match, Naskhida Levidze notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Clapham's Otar Arveladze. Otar Arveladze was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Otar Arveladze came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Wiveliscombe City's Akim Beroshvili . But to his dismay, Akim Beroshvili quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Khvicha Milakiev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Roland Pozharskiy 's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Otar Arveladze was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Clapham's Jaba Torotadze got a free kick in the 86th minute. 93 minutes into the game, Mikhail Gvaramadze was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clapham's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wiveliscombe City the free kick. The supporters of Wiveliscombe City booed when Clapham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikhail Gvaramadze didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Wiveliscombe City had won after a very even match.
