Spectators: 6881 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1881, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dimitry Pachalia started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Rugeley defense, Djojiki Robakidze kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Khobuli Kamadadze . The Rugeley fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Khobuli Kamadadze should have stopped the shot. In the 14th minute Djojiki Robakidze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khobuli Kamadadze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Khobuli Kamadadze came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Alsager's Dimitry Pachalia. But to his dismay, Dimitry Pachalia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 20th match minute, Alsager was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabir Levidze to maneuver through the defense. Okhoropir Tsitsishvili made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Bukhuti Torotadze sent off a good shot on target. Khobuli Kamadadze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sabir Levidze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Dimitry Pachalia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute Alsager were awarded a corner. Jondo Mamporia went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Alsager's Jondo Mamporia to fire away a dangerous shot which Khobuli Kamadadze despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Khobuli Kamadadze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Djojiki Robakidze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dimitry Pachalia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Khobuli Kamadadze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Alsager getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Anzor Gabelia hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Alsager's Shavleg Zabelin got a free kick in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Takha Machaidze made a kick off. Khobuli Kamadadze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitry Pachalia, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After a rather tough play, Rugeley's Mirian Machaidze got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 59th minute, Bukhuti Torotadze left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rugeley fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Djojiki Robakidze might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Khobuli Kamadadze . Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Djojiki Robakidze ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Alsager getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Sabir Levidze hit a great ball. Dimitry Pachalia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Alsager booed when Rugeley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Djvebe Shalikashvili didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anzor Gabelia kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Takha Machaidze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Okhoropir Tsitsishvili having to interfere. Bukhuti Torotadze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Okhoropir Tsitsishvili having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bukhuti Torotadze in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Okhoropir Tsitsishvili prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Takha Machaidze charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Takha Machaidze the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Rugeley getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Takha Machaidze hit a great ball. Dimitry Pachalia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khobuli Kamadadze having to interfere. Mirian Machaidze 's late challenge caught a Alsager's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mirian Machaidze helped the player get up and apologised. Mirian Machaidze hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 99th play minute Djojiki Robakidze came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Khobuli Kamadadze . 1-3. The Alsager supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Alsager would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
