Mirian Dzotsenidze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Djojiki Labadze having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, Orsett's Pavel Sordia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Djojiki Labadze made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Geographer's Dato Neparidze got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iveri Milakiev struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Djojiki Labadze didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Orsett.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sergey Torotadze to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Dato Neparidze had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Beka Shalikashvili. Orsett's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dato Neparidze was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After having played for 58 minutes, Pavel Sordia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orsett's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pavel Sordia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Djojiki Labadze made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Iveri Milakiev sent off a good shot on target. Beka Shalikashvili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dato Neparidze, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 67 minutes, Khobuli Bitsadze mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Geographer and the Orsett players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 67 played minutes Geographer got a freekick which was hit by Khobuli Bitsadze. Pavel Sordia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute Pavel Sordia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Djojiki Labadze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geographer's Djojiki Labadze proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Geographer from getting a goal against them. Geographer's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Pavel Sordia 80 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iveri Milakiev got free with Djojiki Labadze in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Pavel Sordia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Djoto Magalov was shown his second yellow card after 97 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 97th match minute, Orsett was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Djoto Magalov to maneuver through the defense.
