After a defensive mix-up in FC Zestafoni's zone, Khvicha Paghava stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samir Levidze came out of the goal and Khvicha Paghava tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mindia Andrzheevskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samir Levidze having to interfere. FC Zestafoni's Samir Levidze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mindia Andrzheevskiy in the 16th minute of play. In the 25th match minute, Shredorthon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiriev Milakiev to maneuver through the defense. Beka Jachvadze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Takha Sulaberidze having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Mindia Andrzheevskiy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, FC Zestafoni's goal looked a bit too open when Mindia Andrzheevskiy came free, but Samir Levidze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Shredorthon's Mindia Andrzheevskiy ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Samir Levidze. Samir Levidze yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tariel Torotadze was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Shredorthon defense, Beka Jachvadze kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Takha Sulaberidze. The Shredorthon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Takha Sulaberidze should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Merdan Goloviznin during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Zestafoni getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Merdan Goloviznin hit a great ball. Nikolaj Pozharskiy, 63 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Takha Sulaberidze made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Beka Jachvadze sent off a good shot on target. Takha Sulaberidze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tariel Torotadze in the 77th minute of the match. Shredorthon's Takha Sulaberidze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tariel Torotadze in the 79th minute of play. Takha Sulaberidze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tariel Torotadze, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Tariel Torotadze's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Takha Sulaberidze read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. With an all-out effort, FC Zestafoni's Takha Sulaberidze threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tariel Torotadze, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 84th minute, Tariel Torotadze ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Takha Sulaberidze was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Khvicha Paghava fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samir Levidze having to interfere. Mindia Andrzheevskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Samir Levidze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Shredorthon defense, Beka Jachvadze kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Takha Sulaberidze. The Shredorthon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Takha Sulaberidze should have stopped the shot. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
