Otar Sulakvidze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mirian Cheishvili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zviadi Milakiev kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. If Mirian Cheishvili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bukhuti Salia hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute of the match Zviadi Nad sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Otar Sulakvidze skillfully saved the ball. Bukhuti Salia's late challenge caught a FC KVALITI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bukhuti Salia helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC KVALITI booed when FC Zviadi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bukhuti Salia didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to FC Zviadi getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Shavleg Pozharskiy hit a great ball. FC KVALITI's Sabir Arveladze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tshalkhia Jachvadze in the 26th minute of play. FC KVALITI's Sabir Arveladze proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save FC KVALITI from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute, Merab Robakidze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Taka Sulakvidze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Zviadi's Otar Sulakvidze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mirian Cheishvili in the 41st minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Taka Sulakvidze made the kick off in the second half. Taka Sulakvidze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otar Sulakvidze having to interfere. 53 minutes into the match, FC Zviadi's goal looked a bit too open when Taka Sulakvidze came free, but Otar Sulakvidze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tshalkhia Jachvadze might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sabir Arveladze. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tshalkhia Jachvadze ran back to his position shaking his head. Otar Sulakvidze was a little too slow when Taka Sulakvidze got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 0-1. Mirian Cheishvili could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Otar Sulakvidze made a huge save. A hard shot 67 in the game by Mirian Cheishvili from a close distance when the talented Otar Sulakvidze managed to make a qualified save. FC Zviadi's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taka Sulakvidze in the 70th minute of play forced FC Zviadi's goalkeeper Otar Sulakvidze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Taka Sulakvidze's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Otar Sulakvidze was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game.
