Iveri Cheishvili who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Lukhum Gabelia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Taunton getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Pavel Mkheidze hit a great ball. Iveri Cheishvili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gogita Jandieri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iveri Cheishvili succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 25th playminute. In the 27th minute, Akim Arveladze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aydin Babadishev in the 29th minute of play forced REKORDMEISTER's goalkeeper Soso Salia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iveri Cheishvili got free with Lukhum Gabelia in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Taunton getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Pavel Mkheidze hit a great ball. Aydin Babadishev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Soso Salia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iveri Cheishvili made a kick off. When Taunton's Pavel Mkheidze in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Iveri Cheishvili blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lukhum Gabelia having to make a save. 82 minutes into the game, Gia Jachvadze cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Lukhum Gabelia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in REKORDMEISTER's zone, Aydin Babadishev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Soso Salia came out of the goal and Aydin Babadishev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute, Gogita Jandieri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle, REKORDMEISTER could leave the field as winners, despite Taunton having more of the ball for most of the match.
