The supporters of Red Bull Tbilisi booed when Warrington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Naskhida Alania didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bichiko Chebaevskiy made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Red Bull Tbilisi's goalkeeper Merab Anghelache had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nukri Neparidze. After having played for 58 minutes, Nukri Neparidze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Warrington's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nukri Neparidze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st minute, Djojiki Andrzheevskiy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Red Bull Tbilisi's Merab Anghelache proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Red Bull Tbilisi from getting a goal against them. When Naskhida Alania came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Warrington fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Naskhida Alania couldn't finish the play. 70 minutes into the match, Red Bull Tbilisi's goal looked a bit too open when Naskhida Alania came free, but Merab Anghelache reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nukri Neparidze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Merab Anghelache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
