In the 44th minute, Warrington's Nukri Neparidze ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Soso Salia. Soso Salia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Giorgi Pozharskiy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iveri Cheishvili in the 55th minute. The audience was convinced that Naskhida Alania's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Soso Salia was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. In the 83rd minute, Bichiko Sulakvidze got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Naskhida Alania sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute Naskhida Alania shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Soso Salia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
