With an all-out effort, Kirkby FC's Roman Andrzheevskiy threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Giorgi Mamporia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Illarion Aragvsky took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davit Sulaberidze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kirkby FC's Otar Andrzheevskiy suffered a concussion after 13 minutes and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Davit Sulaberidze during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 14 played minutes Inter Tbilisi got a freekick which was hit by Davit Sulaberidze. Davit Sulaberidze struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Illarion Aragvsky didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter Tbilisi. Kirkby FC's Illarion Aragvsky played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davit Sulaberidze in the 20th minute of play. Mikhail Gadaevi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roman Andrzheevskiy having to make a save. Roman Sulaberidze kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Mikhail Gadaevi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Roman Andrzheevskiy. The goal made the score 1-0. The supporters of Inter Tbilisi booed when Kirkby FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valiko Sulaberidze didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th match minute, Kirkby FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marat Cholokaev to maneuver through the defense. When Davit Sulaberidze came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Inter Tbilisi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Davit Sulaberidze couldn't finish the play.

A hard, long distance shot from Uta Alania flew over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikhail Gadaevi in the 55th minute of play forced Inter Tbilisi's goalkeeper Roman Andrzheevskiy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 58 minutes, Kakhi Pawletko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter Tbilisi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kakhi Pawletko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roman Andrzheevskiy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikhail Gadaevi, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Roman Andrzheevskiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valiko Sulaberidze in the 61st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Mikhail Gadaevi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roman Andrzheevskiy was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Roman Andrzheevskiy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mikhail Gadaevi's shot from short distance in the 86th minute.
