In the 6th match minute, real1988 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bidzina Milakiev to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 12 minutes, Bebur Burduli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. real1988's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bebur Burduli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Castletown's Egos Pulishvili got a free kick in the 13th minute. After having played for 19 minutes, Davit Gabelia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castletown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davit Gabelia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Semen Kamadadze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 played minutes real1988 got a freekick which was hit by Bidzina Milakiev. Amiran Londaridze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, real1988's Bidzina Milakiev got a free kick in the 28th minute. A hard shot 29 in the game by Semen Kamadadze from a close distance when the talented Khudji Cheishvili managed to make a qualified save. real1988's players were relieved. Semen Kamadadze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 37th minute, Semen Kamadadze ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Khudji Cheishvili was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 42 minutes into the match, real1988's goal looked a bit too open when Davit Gabelia came free, but Khudji Cheishvili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Semen Kamadadze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khudji Cheishvili having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amiran Londaridze to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes Castletown got a freekick which was hit by Egos Pulishvili. After some careless play in the real1988 defense, Emiriev Abesadze kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Khudji Cheishvili. The real1988 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Khudji Cheishvili should have stopped the shot. Khudji Cheishvili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davit Gabelia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amiran Londaridze struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Dato Salia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for real1988. A collision led to Castletown getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Emiriev Abesadze hit a great ball. After 71 minutes, Bakhar Podolyakin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Castletown and the real1988 players grew even worse after the yellow card. The goalkeeper, Dato Salia, was totally fooled by real1988's Arsen Jandieri, who 73 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Khudji Cheishvili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Semen Kamadadze in the 80th minute of play. Khudji Cheishvili stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emiriev Abesadze's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Mikhail Abesadze hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Semen Kamadadze got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Davit Gabelia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Khudji Cheishvili read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play.
