Davit Gabelia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Machaidze having to interfere. If Semen Kamadadze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Davit Gabelia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Botchia Pozharskiy in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dato Salia saved Castletown from getting behind. If Davit Gabelia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Castletown's Davit Gabelia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roman Machaidze narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Davit Gabelia to make the kick off. Harrogate FC's Roman Machaidze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davit Gabelia in the 51st minute of play. Castletown's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
