Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Giorgi Mamporia started the match with the kick off. Khristesia Arveladze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Illarion Aragvsky tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Leigh United getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Nikoloz Salia hit a great ball. If Giorgi Mamporia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khristesia Arveladze in the 8th minute of play forced Kirkby FC's goalkeeper Illarion Aragvsky to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 played minutes Leigh United got a freekick which was hit by Archil Cholokaev. Archil Cholokaev's late challenge caught a Kirkby FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Archil Cholokaev helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Leigh United's Archil Cholokaev got a free kick in the 16th minute. When Archil Cholokaev was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 21 minutes had been played. Archil Cholokaev kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Giorgi Mamporia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Takha Sulakvidze made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Mikhail Gadaevi sent off a good shot on target. If Mikhail Gadaevi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 37 minutes into the match, Giorgi Mamporia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Takha Sulakvidze, 1-0. Mikhail Gadaevi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, Leigh United's goalkeeper Takha Sulakvidze had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mikhail Gadaevi. Giorgi Mamporia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Takha Sulakvidze having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Valeri Khatiashvili made the kick off in the second half. When Nikoloz Salia came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Leigh United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nikoloz Salia couldn't finish the play. After 55 played minutes Leigh United got a freekick which was hit by Nikoloz Salia. Takha Sulakvidze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giorgi Mamporia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Giorgi Mamporia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kirkby FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Giorgi Mamporia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Takha Sulakvidze breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Illarion Aragvsky made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Valeri Khatiashvili sent off a good shot on target. When Pavel Andrzheevskiy fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kirkby FC's protests and gave Pavel Andrzheevskiy a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th minute, Pavel Andrzheevskiy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valeri Khatiashvili could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Illarion Aragvsky made a huge save. Takha Sulakvidze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikhail Gadaevi, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Valeri Khatiashvili recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Illarion Aragvsky made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valeri Khatiashvili in the 76th minute. Giorgi Mamporia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leigh United's Takha Sulakvidze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giorgi Mamporia in the 86th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kirkby FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 87th minute. Penalty! A collision led to Leigh United getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Valeri Pulishvili hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Leigh United defense, Mikhail Gadaevi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Takha Sulakvidze. The Leigh United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Takha Sulakvidze should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Kirkby FC had won after a very even match.
