An unexpectedly hard shot by Giorgi Mamporia in the 17th minute of play forced Castletown's goalkeeper Dato Salia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emiriev Pilievi's late challenge caught a Kirkby FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emiriev Pilievi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th minute, Emiriev Pilievi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute of the match Uta Alania sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dato Salia skillfully saved the ball. Illarion Aragvsky made an important save on a dangerous shot by Semen Kamadadze in the 34th minute. If Mikhail Gadaevi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Mikhail Gadaevi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kirkby FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mikhail Gadaevi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dato Salia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 44 played minutes Castletown got a freekick which was hit by Emiriev Abesadze. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Giorgi Mamporia made a kick off. Illarion Aragvsky showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davit Gabelia in the 51st minute of the match. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kirkby FC's goalkeeper Illarion Aragvsky, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 60 minutes into the match, Kirkby FC's goal looked a bit too open when Davit Gabelia came free, but Illarion Aragvsky reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valiko Sulaberidze hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the game, Castletown's Davit Gabelia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Illarion Aragvsky made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 65th match minute, Kirkby FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uta Alania to maneuver through the defense. Dato Salia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valiko Sulaberidze in the 92nd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Marat Cholokaev sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Dato Salia threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Marat Cholokaev this time.
