Sese Arveladze might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valeri Alania. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sese Arveladze ran back to his position shaking his head. Sese Arveladze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Valeri Alania tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrey Gabelia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iveri Tsitsishvili, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. University of Toronto's Valeri Alania proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save University of Toronto from getting a goal against them. Sese Arveladze's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valeri Alania read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Stokenchurch's Andrey Gabelia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iveri Tsitsishvili in the 17th minute of play. Andrey Gabelia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iveri Tsitsishvili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valeri Alania made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zviadi Podolyakin in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zviadi Podolyakin in the 34th minute of play forced University of Toronto's goalkeeper Valeri Alania to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Taka Cheishvili had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andrey Gabelia. Stokenchurch's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Taka Cheishvili was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zviadi Podolyakin was the one to do the kick off. If Sese Arveladze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zviadi Podolyakin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dimitry Kobiashvili during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 64 played minutes University of Toronto got a freekick which was hit by Dimitry Kobiashvili. 71 minutes into the match, University of Toronto's goal looked a bit too open when Zviadi Podolyakin came free, but Valeri Alania reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Sese Arveladze made a precise shot to the right of Valeri Alania. University of Toronto's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, University of Toronto's Illarion Robakidze got a free kick in the 79th minute. Zviadi Podolyakin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valeri Alania showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sese Arveladze in the 84th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Zviadi Podolyakin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valeri Alania was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. In the 87th minute Zviadi Podolyakin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valeri Alania saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, University of Toronto's Samir Andrzheevskiy got a free kick in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Stokenchurch's goal looked a bit too open when Taka Cheishvili came free, but Andrey Gabelia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iveri Tsitsishvili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
