Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Merab Goloviznin started the match with the kick off. If Merab Goloviznin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Khristesia Kamadadze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anzor Urushadze in the 17th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Anzor Urushadze kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Khristesia Kamadadze. That made the score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. In the 22nd minute Merab Goloviznin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egos Torotadze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Leiston's goal looked a bit too open when Merab Goloviznin came free, but Egos Torotadze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Leiston's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sabir Pachalia was slow to take the kick. During this time Dato fc's players had a chance to rest. Pavel Salia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Egos Torotadze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Merab Goloviznin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dato fc's Khristesia Kamadadze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anzor Urushadze in the 43rd minute of play. Illarion Aragvsky received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Egos Torotadze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 48 minutes, Sabir Mkheidze mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leiston and the Dato fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sabir Mkheidze kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anzor Urushadze made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Merab Goloviznin in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egos Torotadze saved Leiston from getting behind. In the 58th minute, Vano Lekov made a precise shot to the right of Egos Torotadze. Leiston's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Vano Lekov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egos Torotadze having to interfere. After 65 played minutes Merab Goloviznin rounded Leiston's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. 70 minutes into the game, Sabir Pachalia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dato fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leiston the free kick. After 70 played minutes Dato fc got a freekick which was hit by Sabir Pachalia. After a defensive mix-up in Dato fc's zone, Anzor Urushadze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Khristesia Kamadadze came out of the goal and Anzor Urushadze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Dato fc getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Sachino Urushadze hit a great ball. In the 76th play minute Pavel Salia came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Egos Torotadze. 2-3. In the 88th minute, Dato fc's Giorgi Sordia seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Giorgi Sordia the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Dato fc protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Giorgi Sordia had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Dato fc fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 88th minute. Penalty! Dato fc's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Leiston had won, even though Dato fc had held more of the ball.
