The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Archil Jachvadze showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dato Andrzheevskiy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Naskhida Pozharskiy, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 26 minutes of play, F.C. BLAUGRANA's Teimuraz Jandieri made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Archil Jachvadze was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dato Andrzheevskiy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gia Sagharadze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hove AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C. BLAUGRANA the free kick. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind F.C. BLAUGRANA's goalkeeper Dato Andrzheevskiy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Semen Topnikov was shown his second yellow card after 54 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.
