When Emiriev Milakiev fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canberra Raiders's protests and gave Emiriev Milakiev a yellow card for diving instead. After 22 played minutes Canberra Raiders got a freekick which was hit by Emiriev Milakiev. Tsotne Burduli struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Valiko Sulaberidze didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canberra Raiders. After a defensive mix-up in Canberra Raiders's zone, Sachino Nad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xiao Yuan Zhen came out of the goal and Sachino Nad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Canberra Raiders's Xiao Yuan Zhen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Canberra Raiders from getting a goal against them. Canberra Raiders's Xiao Yuan Zhen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sachino Nad in the 86th minute of play. After 88 minutes Canberra Raiders's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nukri Pachalia who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Nukri Pachalia got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Xiao Yuan Zhen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 90th minute Andrey Mingrelsky shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valiko Sulaberidze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Canberra Raiders's Kang Jun got a free kick in the 91st minute. After having played for 92 minutes, Nukri Pachalia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Georgia Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nukri Pachalia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
