In the 23rd minute, Tsotne Burduli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emiriev Anghelache was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Tsotne Burduli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Cyprian Radziszewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, Canberra Raiders's Vaja Andrzheevskiy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emiriev Anghelache narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Bingley's Emiriev Anghelache got control of the ball when Tsotne Burduli tried to sneak it across the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Egos Londaridze in the 56th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Canberra Raiders's Andrey Mingrelsky. In the 57th minute, Tsotne Burduli made a precise shot to the right of Emiriev Anghelache. Bingley's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After 66 played minutes Bingley got a freekick which was hit by Khudji Nad. After some careless play in the Bingley defense, Tsotne Burduli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emiriev Anghelache. The Bingley fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emiriev Anghelache should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Bingley booed when Canberra Raiders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiriev Milakiev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andrey Mingrelsky fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiriev Anghelache having to interfere. In the 78th minute Tsotne Burduli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiriev Anghelache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bingley's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
