After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Mindia Bitsadze managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. BLAUGRANA's supporters rose to their feet, but Mindia Bitsadze was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valiko Sulaberidze breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th minute Nodari Dzotsenidze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valiko Sulaberidze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Georgia Football Club's zone, Mindia Bitsadze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 23rd minute, Tshalkhia Sordia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Georgia Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 26 minutes of play, F.C. BLAUGRANA's Nodari Dzotsenidze made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valiko Sulaberidze was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teimuraz Jandieri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valiko Sulaberidze having to interfere. In the 38thth minute of the game Mindia Bitsadze who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Georgia Football Club's Valiko Sulaberidze was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Djojiki Machaidze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valiko Sulaberidze having to interfere. Valiko Sulaberidze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mindia Bitsadze in the 41st minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Teimuraz Jandieri came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the F.C. BLAUGRANA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teimuraz Jandieri couldn't finish the play. A throw-in in the 74th minute of the game was made by Djondo Milakiev with Djojiki Aragvsky as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Georgia Football Club's Valiko Sulaberidze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mindia Bitsadze in the 75th minute of play. Mindia Bitsadze struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Valiko Sulaberidze didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. BLAUGRANA. When Djondo Beroshvili fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Georgia Football Club's protests and gave Djondo Beroshvili a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of F.C. BLAUGRANA booed when Georgia Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Djondo Beroshvili didn't get a good kick on the ball.
