Mathieu Costermanss short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Djondo Lekov to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 26th match minute, Titchfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbyszko Kieca to maneuver through the defense. Mathieu Costermans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Djondo Lekov made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in FC.EGRISI's zone, Mathieu Costermans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Djondo Lekov came out of the goal and Mathieu Costermans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute Enrique Passos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Djondo Lekov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Pavel Mingrelsky had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute Gytis Erlickas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Peruxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Mathieu Costermans sped through FC.EGRISI's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Djondo Lekov.
