Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FC GAGRA's Nikolaj Gvaramadze started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bukhuti Jandieri's late challenge caught a Medani's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bukhuti Jandieri helped the player get up and apologised. Sachino Babadishev who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Lukhum Jandieri when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 9 minutes into the game, Emiriev Andrzheevskiy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Akim Bitsadze was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Merdan Kobiashvili kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Medani's Akim Bitsadze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiriev Andrzheevskiy in the 14th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC GAGRA's zone, Bichiko Gvaramadze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lukhum Jandieri came out of the goal and Bichiko Gvaramadze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Medani's Akim Bitsadze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiriev Andrzheevskiy in the 23rd minute of play. Bukhuti Jandieri made in the 25th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Medani's Valeri Pawletko. In the 30th minute of the match, Sachino Babadishev tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lukhum Jandieri saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Medani getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Bakhar Magalov hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Nikolaj Gvaramadze made a precise shot to the right of Akim Bitsadze. Medani's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 39 minutes of play, Medani's Sachino Babadishev made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lukhum Jandieri was left in no man's land by his defense there! Khristesia Sordia hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sachino Babadishev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as FC GAGRA's Akim Gvaramadze slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Akim Bitsadze. That made the score 2-3 after 54 minutes of play. Sachino Babadishev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Lukhum Jandieri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sachino Babadishev in the 63rd minute of play forced FC GAGRA's goalkeeper Lukhum Jandieri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bakhar Magalov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Sachino Babadishev sped through FC GAGRA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lukhum Jandieri. In the 70th minute, Sachino Babadishev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sachino Babadishev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 78th play minutes Sachino Babadishev shot 4-3, a short shot which went by Lukhum Jandieri and just under the crossbar into goal. After 83 played minutes, Medani's Mirian Robakidze shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lukhum Jandieri came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Medani reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sachino Babadishev in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lukhum Jandieri saved FC GAGRA from getting behind. During the 85th minute of the match Bukhuti Jandieri completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bukhuti Jandieri a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 87th match minute, FC GAGRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bukhuti Jandieri to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FC GAGRA booed when Medani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valeri Pawletko didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Sachino Babadishev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lukhum Jandieri was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sachino Babadishev in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lukhum Jandieri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Medani's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
