Sese Goloviznin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikolaj Gvaramadze in the 5th minute of play. Lukhum Jandieri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Merdan Pulishvili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the game, Akim Gvaramadze was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC GAGRA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kutaisi FC the free kick. In the 27th match minute, FC GAGRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Akim Gvaramadze to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Emiriev Andrzheevskiy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kutaisi FC's Sese Goloviznin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikolaj Gvaramadze in the 34th minute of play. Kvarkvare Gvaramadze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Lukhum Jandieri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kvarkvare Gvaramadze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 38 played minutes FC GAGRA got a freekick which was hit by Akim Gvaramadze. Emiriev Andrzheevskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the game, Khristesia Sordia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC GAGRA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kutaisi FC the free kick. In the 46th match minute, FC GAGRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Khristesia Sordia to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute Kvarkvare Gvaramadze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukhum Jandieri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emiriev Andrzheevskiy to strike the kick off in the second half. Kvarkvare Gvaramadze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Lukhum Jandieri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Kutaisi FC's Kvarkvare Gvaramadze slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lukhum Jandieri. That made the score 1-1 after 56 minutes of play. After having played for 61 minutes, Emiriev Andrzheevskiy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kutaisi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emiriev Andrzheevskiy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emiriev Andrzheevskiy in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lukhum Jandieri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Kutaisi FC's zone, Emiriev Andrzheevskiy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sese Goloviznin came out of the goal and Emiriev Andrzheevskiy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Emiriev Andrzheevskiy put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Sese Goloviznin. If Kvarkvare Gvaramadze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Emiriev Andrzheevskiy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiriev Andrzheevskiy in the 79th minute of play forced FC GAGRA's goalkeeper Lukhum Jandieri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Kutaisi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emiriev Andrzheevskiy came free, but Sese Goloviznin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Emiriev Andrzheevskiy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC GAGRA's Nikolaj Gvaramadze managed to work through Kutaisi FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Nikolaj Gvaramadze dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Kvarkvare Gvaramadze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lukhum Jandieri having to interfere. During the 86th minute of the match Khristesia Sordia completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Khristesia Sordia a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. With a little luck, FC GAGRA's Lukhum Jandieri got control of the ball when Kvarkvare Gvaramadze tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lukhum Jandieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merdan Pulishvili in the 90th minute of the match. Emiriev Andrzheevskiy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kvarkvare Gvaramadze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Lukhum Jandieri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC GAGRA's goalkeeper Lukhum Jandieri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
