Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mindia Anghelache started the match with the kick off. Valiko Andrzheevskiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mindia Anghelache in the 9th minute of play. Mindia Anghelache's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valiko Andrzheevskiy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Valiko Andrzheevskiy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mindia Anghelache, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Sachino Londaridze's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gia Milakiev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Valiko Andrzheevskiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mindia Anghelache in the 21st minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, one of East Cowes:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. East Cowes:s Valiko Andrzheevskiy showed great skill when he stopped Valeri Gvaramadze:s penalty. East Cowes's Valiko Andrzheevskiy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Semen Magalov in the 32nd minute of play. Andrey Andrzheevskiy received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gia Milakiev came out and tried to block the shot, but Andrey Andrzheevskiy slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 36th minute. Gia Milakiev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amiran Pilievi in the 42nd minute.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andrey Andrzheevskiy was the one to do the kick off. Amiran Pilievi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gia Milakiev having to interfere. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Thamesmead's goalkeeper Gia Milakiev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Semen Magalov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valiko Andrzheevskiy having to interfere. East Cowes's Valiko Andrzheevskiy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save East Cowes from getting a goal against them. Semen Magalov's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Valiko Andrzheevskiy firmly grabbed it by the left post. Amiran Pilievi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Gia Milakiev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Marat Pulishvili hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andrey Andrzheevskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gia Milakiev having to interfere. After having played for 77 minutes, Andrey Andrzheevskiy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. East Cowes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrey Andrzheevskiy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amiran Pilievi hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. East Cowes's Valiko Andrzheevskiy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save East Cowes from getting a goal against them. In the 88th minute, Amiran Pilievi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valiko Andrzheevskiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mindia Anghelache in the 90th minute of play. Amiran Pilievi struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Gia Milakiev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for East Cowes. If Marat Pulishvili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. East Cowes walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
