Zviadi Burduli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mindia Anghelache in the 34th minute of the match. If Vadim Urushadze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 46 minutes into the game, Thamesmead's Mindia Anghelache nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zviadi Burduli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mindia Anghelache stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zviadi Paghava in the 55th minute of play forced Thamesmead's goalkeeper Gia Milakiev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, FC SAMTREDIA's Zviadi Burduli got control of the ball when Semen Magalov tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Teimuraz Magalov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vadim Urushadze in the 65th minute of play forced Thamesmead's goalkeeper Gia Milakiev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The long shot by Valeri Gvaramadze in the 70th minute really tested Zviadi Burduli's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 78 minutes into the game, Zviadi Paghava cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Gia Milakiev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Semen Magalov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mindia Anghelache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gia Milakiev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zviadi Paghava in the 87th minute of play. In the 90th minute Mindia Anghelache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zviadi Burduli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 91 played minutes FC SAMTREDIA got a freekick which was hit by Teimuraz Magalov. Semen Magalov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Thamesmead players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented FC SAMTREDIA from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
